The sisters of Mercy of Charles Boromeo from Czech Republic came to render their services to the people. Due to health reasons and language problem they closed down their convent. In 2004 a convent and dispensary was built and the JMJ sisters were requested to render the services to the people. On 10 April 2006 the convent was blessed by Bishop Felix Toppo S.J.
